Simulation of wet ball milling of iron ore at Carajas, Brazil
· Brazil has one of the largest iron ore reserves in the world, including an estimated 17 billion tons of highgrade iron ore loed in Carajas. The formation originated from jaspelite; according to the currently accepted theory, the ore bodies were formed from meteorological alteration of the jaspelite, leaching out the silica and enriching the hematite horizons.
