Oct 08, 2009 · The old Bridgeport alog I have shows ball screws as an option for the machine but makes no mention of any CNC features. Thats why I figured I could use them on a manual mill. As for the bronze nuts, the split nuts are a better design as when snugged up they engage evenly around the screw.
